METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 220 ̊C (200 ̊C fan forced).

  2. Combine the contents of the yeast sachet and warm water in a small bowl, mixing until fully dissolved.

  3. Empty the pizza base mix sachet into a mixing bowl, add the dissolved yeast and mix together to form a dough.

  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until a smooth ball forms, roll out the dough into a circle approximately 20cm in diameter for a deep pan base or 25cm diameter for thin and crispy crust then transfer to a floured or lined baking tray.

  5. Rest the dough in a warm place for 10 minutes. Spread the contents of the tomato and basil sauce sachet over the base then the pizza toppings.

  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

INGREDIENTS:

For the Pizza Base

  • 1 Packet Lion Pizza base kit

  • 125ml warm water

  • Flour for dusting

For the Toppings:

  • 10 slices pepperoni

  • 2 large mushrooms, sliced

  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced

  • Small handful basil leaves

  • 1/4 capsicum, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon sliced black olives

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
