Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 ⅔ cup Lion Self Raising Flour

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup caster sugar

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 125g butter, melted

  1. Preheat oven to 200˚C (180˚C fan forced). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

  2. Combine the flour, sugars, egg and chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and mix until a soft dough forms. If dough is not coming together, add ½ tsp water at a time until dough is formed.

  3. Shape dough into balls and place on the baking tray, allowing room to spread.

  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until light golden brown. Allow to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
